RanchWeb
Terms of Service
Last updated 11 September 2026
These are the terms for using RanchWeb. The short version: we introduce travellers to ranches, the ranch runs your stay, and if you advertise with us there are a few things worth being clear about up front.
What RanchWeb does
We are a directory and an introduction service. We describe ranches, show what they offer, and pass your enquiry to them. We are not the ranch. Your booking, your stay and anything that happens on it is between you and the ranch, and their terms apply to it.
What we try to get right, and what we cannot promise
Rates, dates, capacity and descriptions come from the ranches themselves and change without telling us. We keep them as current as we reasonably can, but always confirm the details with the ranch before you book. Prices shown are a guide, not an offer.
Enquiries
When you send an enquiry we pass it to the ranch. We do not take bookings or payments for stays, and we never take commission on one.
Membership, for ranch owners and brokers
This is the part worth reading carefully if you advertise with us.
- Billing. Membership is a subscription. Monthly memberships renew every month and annual memberships every year, on the date you joined, until you cancel. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
- Renewal. It renews automatically. We do this so your listing does not disappear without warning, not to catch anyone out.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time, and your listing stays live to the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part of a period.
- Refunds. If it is not right for you, tell us within 30 days of first joining and we will refund it in full.
- Price changes. If we change the price we will tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel instead.
- Payments. Handled by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own page and never reach us.
Your listing content
If you send us photographs, descriptions or video, you keep ownership of them and you give us permission to show them on RanchWeb and our related sites. You are confirming you have the right to give us that permission. We may decline or remove anything inaccurate, misleading or unlawful.
Using the site
Please do not scrape the listings, misuse the enquiry forms, try to break into anything, or post anything unlawful. Our own writing, design and photography belong to us.
When things go wrong
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee either. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for what happens during a stay, or for a ranch’s own acts. If we are found liable for something, our liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top. For anything material to members, we will also email you. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
